Job Descriptions

RESPONSIBILITIES:


SERVICE DESK

  • Set and adhere to the agreed IT Service Level Agreements within the business
  • Manage the Service Desk, call logging and prioritisation
  • Monitor individual performance of Support Desk team members, including providing feedback, coaching and/or training where necessary
  • Ensure maximum productivity from the IT Support team in order to achieve operational requirements and internal service delivery

 

DESKTOP/SERVER

  • Oversee Desktop Application support and deployment, particularly Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office Applications, Exchange Mail, Core Reservation Systems (EVS1, DBL) and the Network Connectivity LAN & WAN to the core reservation systems
  • Coordinate physical moves of computer and telephony equipment
  • SAN support
  • VMware Virtualisation & Backup Support
  • Manage the corporate SOE (Standard Operating Environment)
  • Manage the companies Backup systems
  • Manage the companies Anti Virus systems

 

IT ASSETS

  • Control the organization’s IT Assets
  • Control the procedures for receiving goods from IT suppliers
  • Manage the region’s IT CAPEX budget

 

TELCO

  • Oversee and support telephony infrastructure including PBX & Dialer
  • ITFS/Phone/Mobile/Broadband administration

 

SOX

  • Manage the process for ensuring PCI & SOX Compliance for the region

 

PROJECTS

  • Oversee and participate in Global & Regional IT projects

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 yeas of relevant experience in server & network administration, user support and IT infrastructure, including IT management experience in IT plan development, budget management, IT project management and staff management
  • Advanced understanding of network hardware, software and associated technologies and practical hands-on experience in server systems and network administration
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, and TCP/IP Networking
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Exchange Server and SMTP configurations
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft ISA, IIS, and SQL Server
  • Understanding of PBX / VoIP Administration
  • Understanding of Cisco Routers and Switches
  • Understanding of VB Scripting for automated tasks and un-attended installations
  • Understanding of call logging, prioritisation and escalation
  • Ability to manage individual and team performance to ensure delivery of results
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all key stakeholders, externally and internally and including explanation of technical issues to non-technical users
  • Ability to meet deadlines by coordinating a flexible and successful business approach within a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to systematically analyse and resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to make sound business decisions in relation to fixing or replacing equipment against costs in terms of time, money and lost customer service opportunities
  • Ability to effectively explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to deliver high quality customer service to staff and clients
  • Able to work weekend shift work and extra hours when and if required
  • Experience working in a call centre environment advantageous

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • MSCE qualification advantageous
  • Applicant must be able to handle Corporate office expectation and request and manage Singapore office, in addition this candidate will handle request from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia  Office. He must possess leadership quality that manages a team before with regional experience and exposure. He will reports to the SVP in Global level and maintain the relationship
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with mandarin speaking associates)
