Assistant Chief Executive
Location: Somerset Rd

 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Services Group) will be a key
member of the senior management team who will play a pivotal role in driving a broad range of corporate activities to lead the company towards achieving its strategic goal of a High Performing Organisation.

The incumbent will provide strong leadership to these corporate service areas - Corporate Communications, Human Resource, Legal and Resource Management Cluster (Finance Management, Finance Planning, Information Systems, Administration), to establish robust corporate policies and
systems, formulate strategies to enhance organisational performance in line with corporate mission, vision and values. He/She will also set the overall corporate framework to coordinate the delivery of strategic
development through a corporate governance structure, as well as a wide range of processes and practices, to ensure that a high level of corporate support is effectively delivered within the organisation to
drive organisational excellence. In addition, he/she will oversee the independent Internal Audit Unit to improve the overall effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes in company.

Requirements

The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university and preferably an advanced Degree in Management.

Ideally, he/she should possess at least 15 years of corporate management experience in established organisations. Prior experience in leading an effective corporate division in either the private or public sector is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be a proven and dynamic leader, with the demonstrated ability to deliver results, manage organisational change, and to develop strong teams. He/she must be able to maintain and demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for public work and mission, and instil strong alignment behind the organisation’s strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, and must be able to develop strong collaborative partnerships both within the
organisation and with external stakeholders.
