Job Descriptions

Our client, a non-profit social enterprise, is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Assistant Manager/Manager, Corporate Communications role for the organization.  Candidates should be strong in media engagement and public outreach activities.


Media Relations and Public Outreach

  • Develop message houses for Singapore’s heart and soul as well as the company
  • Develop and implement country specific PR strategies and plans to amplify Singapore’s heart
  • and soul through the company
  • Develop and implement integrated communications plan to build brand equity of the organisation by profiling its key programmes and activities
  • Develop and implement public outreach programmes to raise awareness of key programmes
  • and activities eg. school and corporate presentations, marketing through below the line
  • channels such as screens at MRT stations, etc
  • Build strong relationships with both international and Singapore media, thereby enabling
  • successful media pitching
  • Craft full set of press materials that include press releases, factsheets, speeches, etc
  • Organise press conferences and different types of media events
  • Develop the itinerary content and organize logistics of journalist visit programmes (JVP) in Singapore and overseas to ensure best elements of the stories are captured
  • Establish partnerships with media as well as JVP content providers
  • Analyse and track media output and apply key lessons for improved coverage in future

Brand custodian and stakeholder engagement

  • Develop corporate toolkit of corporate brochure, corporate video, corporate presentation,
  • collaterals, etc
  • Ensure effective application of corporate brand identity across the organisation
  • Work with HR to improve on internal communications process
  • Organise stakeholder engagement activities such as corporate networking events and partner appreciation dinner



  • Degree holder or above with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent writing skills in English, with strong ability to adopt different styles to engage different audiences. Competency in a second Asian language is an added advantage, to liaise with multi-lingual associates
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of communications responsibilities
  • Understanding of how to build good relationships with media
  • Strong communications specialist with good analytical skills
  • Highly motivated and innovative in trying out different approaches to meet objectives
  • Singaporean or Singapore PR
