Job Description:
- The Business Development Manager plays a key role in coordinating and managing the business development activities of the ADK Singapore (the Agency). Reporting to the President and CEO of the Agency, the position is directly responsible for all sales and marketing activities of the Agency and implementation of the business development plan, which includes: prospecting, lead generation and qualification, presentation development and follow up.
- Duties and responsibilities
- 1. Formulating market development strategy for the growth of the Agency’s local and regional (APAC) portfolio
- 2. Identifying and generating leads, new revenue streams and pursue new business opportunities
- 3. Audit and grow existing client base by upselling Agency’s core capabilities
- 4. High conversion ratio of opportunities into new business
- 5. Managing pipeline and reporting back on progress to the business
- 6. Devise and propose game-changing strategies from our prospective to bring in revenue
- 7. Develop effective sales proposals and presentations that are delivered logically and convincingly
- 8. Manage seamless handover of new business accounts to Agency account Management teams
- 9. Highly adaptive in a dynamic advertising industry

Job Requirements:
- 1. Degree in Marketing OR Business preferred
- 2. Minimum 6 years’ experience in high value consultative sales delivering integrated marketing solutions or related field
- 3. Impressive track record with a demonstrated history of winning and developing high value new business
- 4. Provides strategic direction that generates sustainable client growth
- 5. Excellent inter-personal skills and above all, a great personality!
- 6. Results driven, analytical, process and task oriented individual who treats success as his/her calling card
- 7. Possesses a keen eye and good business acumen in the sales process
- 8. Strong consultative and solution selling skills
- 9. Excellent team player that works closely with Client Service Directors and the management team
- 10. Possess a sound understanding and knowledge of advertising agency processes is preferred but not mandatory
- 11. Proficiency in contract negotiation is preferred
