Description

The Communications Manager is responsible for business critical tasks including:

  • Evaluating communication gaps and needs at the industry and Association levels.
  • Establish outreach programs for all public and private stakeholders
  • Conceptualise, develop and implement communications programs and initiatives (such as technical workshops and industry conferences) to educate, advocate and engage different stakeholders in various clean fuels related issues
  • Identify target audiences and suitable communication channels/platforms.
  • Develop targeted key messages for each market
  • Develop and draft materials in support of the internal and external communication efforts.
  • Maintain consistency in messaging across markets and platforms
  • Travelling within the region to represent the Association in speaking engagements and meetings with regulators, policymakers and industry contacts/partners to communicate key messages.
  • Develop and draft media contribution articles for media platform
  • Develop and implement collaborative efforts with peer organisations and media partners, mange relationships to promote long-term collaboration.
  • Support Executive Director in member communications.
  • Develop membership marketing and communications materials.
  • Design, develop and maintain member portal

Profile

To be successful on the role you must have experience in a similar role as a Communications Manager. Other key requirements include;

  • Degree qualified with at least 6 years of corporate communications experience
  • Should possess a strategic outlook and yet able to be hands-on approach in a highly autonomous environment.
  • Should also be able to engage with a network of contacts within the media and relevant sectors and community groups across cultures and levels.
  • Prior experience from the petrochemicals industry is highly advantageous.
  • More than 10 years of international and regional experience in communications, strategy and business development, relationship management and consulting.
  • Communications portfolio included strategic communications, financial communications, investor relations, corporate affairs and reputation management, media relations, issues and crisis management.

Job Offer

This role will be renewable or extendable six month contract with attractive remuneration package provided. The candidate will have an opportunity to gain an extensive exposure to work with talents across APAC region.
