 Customer Marketing Manager

(Small & Medium Business Distributions)

 The Customer Marketing SMB role is responsible for driving the marketing strategy relative to Small and Medium Businesses across product groups and the partner team. This person in charge of looking to the improvement and optimization of the customer experience across all the channels (Digital and Traditional, Direct from Microsoft and Through Partners). 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

The SMS&P (Small Medium Solutions and Partners) SMB&D (Small and Medium Businesses and Distribution) team manages the subsidiary business sales and marketing strategy and execution for Small and Medium Business Customers (1-250 PCs), including Public Sector accounts, with the goal of driving revenue growth, market share, and excitement for and increased Customer and Partner Experience (CPE) of Microsoft (MS) products and solutions. 

 

Participate in the development of the overall SMB business marketing strategy in the Subsidiary. 

  • Research customer needs and pain points
  • Recommend changes, customizations, and enhancements based on local needs and opportunities.
  • Serve as the lead on value proposition and evidence needs.
  • Influence the adoption of SMB Marketing Initiatives. 

Lead the development and execution of integrated Annual and Quarterly Marketing Plans for customers engaged through the SMB Engine. 

 

Influence Business Groups and Worldwide Partner Group to develop marketing activities that meet or exceed defined business targets by working across SMS&P, and with Business and Marketing Organizations (BMO), Segment teams, Product Groups, Marketing Communications teams, partner teams, and the Central Marketing Group (CMG). 

  • Execute to Customer activities targeting  Internal and Partner Driven IT customers
  • Get ready with MS.com local properties for new online services launch
  • Execute to Customer activities targeting  Internal and Partner Driven IT customers
  • Get ready with MS.com local properties for new online MS products wave launch
  • Drive Relationship Programs targeting MidMarket (Internal and Partner IT) customers
  • Drive 5 min Self Service experience from “find the solution” to “buy it” through MS.com properties & partner sites
  • Drive MS.com online services to assist new customers self profiling/discovery 
  • Deploy SMB Support experience from self-service 

 

Drive marketing excellence 

  • Manage the SMB marketing budget.
  • Provide high predictability in terms of forecast and management of marketing spend.
  • Use and endorse WW business processes and tools.
  • Effectively manage vendors to ensure deliverables are on time and meet specifications 

 

Participate in the development of the overall SMB business marketing strategy in the subsidiary. Serve as the lead on SMB value proposition and evidence needs. Influence the adoption of SMB initiatives.

Lead the development and execution of integrated Joint Marketing Plans for customers engaged through the SMB Opportunity Engine.

Influence the development and the execution of Marketing Campaigns (To Customers from the BG, To/Through Partners from WPG) and relevant marketing activities that meet or exceed defined revenue targets by working across SMS&P, and with BMO organizations, segment teams, Product Groups, Marketing Communications teams, partner teams, and CMG

Improve end to end customer experience particularly web experience, including Digital marketing and social network

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 - 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.)
