Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for overseeing and coordinating each of the installation phases as it pertains to the timely turn-up of customer’s hosting deployments
  • Develop, implement, support, and manage the complete installation cycle from reserving floor space via AutoCad/Visio through the full installation of the customers’ hosting deployments
  • Manage work requests, interface with internal and external organizations, i.e Vendors,
  • Provisioning Teams, Infrastructure Managements, to ensure that all parts of the job are completed
  • Address and maintain all documentation pertaining to a customer installation and turn up date with Operations
  • Develop criteria and make assessments for what can be successfully installed by testing the scope of work requests against the criteria
  • Communicate inventory needs in order to maintain adequate on site inventories to meet customer and Data Center demands
  • The Project Manager will participate in Engineering Review (ER) and Technical Order Form
  • (TOF) review to ensure that all pertinent information is correct before providing approval within the review team
  • He/she will work closely with the IDC Operations Technicians, Building Engineering and communicate all TOFs and customer issues


  • Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering related fields with minimum 3 years experience
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully champion cross-processes and boundary spanning negotiations
  • Good problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong Knowledge of Data Center design, Facility infrastructure, Windows Server applications, TCP/IP networks and LAN/WAN architecture
  • Must have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Occasional international travel is required
  • Bi-lingual and fluent in English & Mandarin with cross cultural skills. Familiarity in Japanese is an added advantage
