Resorts World Sentosa is a world-class premier destination resort on a 49 ha site on Singapore's Sentosa Island. We provide Technical Advisory Services for Singapore's first integrated resort.
The Dow Center is a new research and technology center for the Dow Chemical Company at the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai, China. Energy efficient and environmentally responsible materials and mechanical systems were used throughout.
Responsibilities:
Review and audit all planned preventative maintenance activities by FM service provider for buildings, plant and equipment system
Responsible for ensuring that subcontractors' response and rectification times are met and repairs are undertaken diligently, with due care and without undue delay
Ensure that the integrity of the systems are achieved ie HV, LV, ACMV, Fire protection gases, clean-room etc
Ensure compliance to all Statutory Standards and Regulations and Department of Health requirements
Attend technical meetings, Health & Safety forums with staff and the stakeholders meetings
Ensure that Equipments Lifecycle Planning is achieved
Responsible for bringing to the attention of the Management or Client any unsafe working conditions, working practices, unsafe plant or equipment encountered
Responsible for supervision and participating in a “recall to work” procedure for emergency repairs as required during off office hours
Supervisory Role
Directly accountable for day to day matters to the Management
Responsible for
the maintenance and operation of services to the sites including supervision of service providers and contractors
advising management and client where there is a demonstrable shortfall in resources to meet the standards required for site environment and to meet legislation requirements
maintain relevant statistics, such as KPIs regarding repairs or maintenance, for use in maintaining budgetary control
ensuring that all statutory maintenance requirements are met
assisting the client with the development and implementation of relevant approved new works, inclusive of budget
updating client on new technology and advising on any future requirements
ensuring that energy management systems work at optimum level
advising client on future requirements for savings and better methods of energy conservation
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
At least 6 - 8 years of M&E experience with either FM service provider or FM consultancy background
Well-developed client relationship management, technical skills and good industry knowledge
Good report writing skills
Proactive work style, confident, energetic and a self-motivator with a strong focus on achieving performance goals
Excellent business ethics and integrity
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and teamwork environment
Experienced in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint etc.)
Any demonstrable Green Mark or Energy Management qualifications will be beneficial
