Job Descriptions

  • Activation and deactivation of customers’ cross-connection including Inter-customer, SIPC, EE, Backup and Telco services
  • Installation of new or pre-laid cables for customers
  • Smart-hand services and Tape backup services
  • Hardware installation/migration, scheduled testing for customers
  • Fault response, troubleshooting and incident management of reported / detected faults
  • Maintenance of the company’s equipment (non facilities)
  • Installation and testing of the system backbone capacity
  • On call during unscheduled days or shift times for emergency scheduling requirements.


  • Diploma in IT, ITE or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 years of experience in the IT industries, preferably in data centre provider, ISP or SI environment
  • Able to perform 24 x 7 shift work, flexible in terms of working hours
  • Good presentation skills, project management skills and problem solving skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
  • Extensive knowledge or experience in telco technologies, transmission systems and circuits
  • Extensive knowledge or experience in various network and ISP equipment platform (Network/routers/switches/hub & multiplexer equipment) and ability to handle different test equipment (BERT, Cable (copper & fiber), Ethernet tester and network analyzer)
  • Preferably possess Network Certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIE) and Telco Certification (Juniper/Nortel/Huawei, etc.) and structured cabling knowledge
