JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Support the Real Estate Professor, Finance Group Area Coordinator, course coordinators and faculty in administrative tasks, including budgetary matters, and group development work:
    • Support the Real Estate Professor to prepare the Real Estate curriculum’s budgetary requirements and administer expenditure controls of the track to ensure optimum utilization of funds.
    • Coordinate and minute group meetings, circulate papers.
    • Liaison person between faculty and other Schools, University Offices, external bodies for Group events.
    • Develop and maintain the Group’s web pages on the school website.
    • Administer reimbursement claims and all travel claims for Area Coordinator and faculty.
    • Assist in the dissemination of notices and information to Faculty and coordinate returns as required.

  • Support the Real Estate Professor, Finance Group Area Coordinator and faculty in teaching, curriculum and student matters:
    • First point of contact for Real Estate curriculum queries from internal and external sources.
    • Assist in course allocation for the Real Estate curriculum.
    • Coordinate and check submission of course outlines.
    • Assist in Group''s meetings on curriculum, course coordination and teaching matters.

  • Support the Real Estate Professor, the Finance Area Coordinator and faculty in the development, organization and implementation of the Real Estate Study Trips, Speaker Events, student holistic learning activities and all administrative matters related to these activities:
    • Assist in the development of study trips and speaker events'' contents and itineraries.
    • Plan, line-up and organize all participants'' logistic activities.
    • Responsible for the good corporate governance and administration of these activities.
    • Assist on the review and improvements of all these activities.

  • Perform general office duties for the Dean''s Office.
  • Any other special admin projects as assigned by Real Estate Professor, the Assistant Dean (Administration), and Senior Associate Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree holder with strong project management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite of applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior event planning and coordination experience would be advantageous.
  • Independent and able to work in a complex environment with internal and external staff members at all levels.
  • Mature personality with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Diligent worker who is organized, thorough and a good team player.
