The Franchise Business Development Manager will take central responsibility for the following:
Identify key stake-holders within the business and entrepreneurial sector with regard to the promotion of the franchise model.
Develop and execute sales and marketing plans in order to generate sales leads for follow-up and closure.
Undertake sales visits to promote the benefits of the franchise model topotential stake-holders.
Identify and participate in appropriate conferences and networkingopportunities to reach the target audience.
Design and develop appropriate franchise marketing materials for webinterfaces, promotional literature, and mail-shots.
Conduct competitor and customer analysis to identify and explore new potentialmarkets and benchmark the company’s franchise pricing and offerings.
Evaluate and assess the financial and business acumen suitability of potential franchisees.
Participatein contract negotiations with potential franchisees, including as necessarythe amendment of the existing legal agreement for franchise arrangements.
Develop franchise opening plans with appropriate timelines andstrategies for premises, staffing, and systems.
Organisation of training programme and on-site support for franchise staff during the initial start up period.· Contribute to the 5 year planning process with regard to franchise development and other potential expansion strategies throughidentification and exploitation of opportunities to enhance and develop thecompany’s brand.
Requirements:
2+ years experience as a food and beverage and / or retail franchisor - sourcing, appointing, and managing appropriate franchisees in new territories.
Demonstrable track record of success. Preferably to have experience in building and driving a Franchise business from scratch or early phase.
Highly credible commercial professional with international franchising experience and ideally live target contacts.
