Job Descriptions

Our Foundation is looking for an aspiring and self-driven professional to lead our audit and risk management team.
Reporting to the senior management, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the Foundation’s wide governance and risk functions which include developing and implementing an Enterprise Risk Management Framework to support the Foundation’s delivery of health and community care services. Key responsibilities include :
  • plans, develops and implements an overall risk management program which entail evaluation of existing risk management framework, identification of potential risk factors and their implications in areas pertaining cost, legal and environmental considerations
  • leads and collaborates with the respective Department Risk Champions in developing the Foundation’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and implements Business Continuity Management (BCM) plan effectively
  • guides respective departments in Business Impact Analysis (BIA), recovery strategies and development of procedurals
  • develops, tests and reviews the BCP Manual with recovery strategies and procedures, validates organizational crisis response plan for offsite disaster recovery operations against different possible threat scenarios
  • responsible for the Foundation’s corporate governance through continual review and assessment of internal control framework, financial policies and procedures
  • serves as a liaison with both internal and external auditors
  • collaborates with process owners to review audit findings, follow up on the recommendations and progress report to the Audit and Risk Committee
  • provides support and training to staff in building risk awareness within the Foundation
  • ensures that relevant Policies & Procedures (P&Ps) are adhered to by initiating & coordinating periodic documentation review, testing and audit exercises
  • conducts regular checks on the Foundation’s compliance to government and statutory requirements related to Governance and Risk (e.g. Charities and IPCs regulations, PDPA)
  • serves as a Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) core team member, presents incidents / risk report and proposes ways to eliminate, mitigate recurrence of incidents
  • serves as the Foundation’s alternate Data Protection Officer (alt DPO)
  • serves as a Secretariat to the Audit and Risk Committee
Requirements :
  • Degree in Business Management, Organisation Development, Finance & Accounting, or Engineering related discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare / community care setting
  • Experience in COSO, Audit, ISO, QA, Financial, Governance and Accounting, CPA, CFE an added advantage
  • Ability to understand broad business issues
  • Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Meticulous and possess planning, organising and analytical skills
  • Possess good communication and presentation skills with ability to engage people, negotiate and create positive influence
  • Numerical skills with experience in cost / impact evaluation
