Job Descriptions


  • Provide strategic directions for IHC’s education initiatives and programmes 
  • Conceptualise and oversee the implementation of IHC’s education and programming initiatives
  • Supervise the Education and Programming team 
  • Conceptualise and supervise the implementation of IHC’s interactive platforms
  • Network and nurture relationships with potential partners and community stakeholders to carry out education and programming activities 
  • Develop marketing plans for education and programming activities 
  • Oversee and liaise with vendors/suppliers and partners for education and programming activities 
  • Supervise the development of collaterals for education and programming activities 
  • Supervise the management IHC’s volunteer groups
  • Manage interns and temporary staff who support education and programming activities 
  • Perform general administrative duties associated with the job
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Centre Director/IHC 


  • A good Degree in the Arts & Social Sciences, South Asian Studies, Visual & Performing Arts, Education or related fields
  • At least 5 years of work experience in similar capacity 
  • Have a good command of English (verbal and written). Any additional language, especially those commonly used in Singapore, will also be an asset
  • IT-savvy, good practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Good organisational and project management skills 
  • Must be able to work independently yet be a good team player 
  •  Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work beyond office hours, including weekends and public holidays, where necessary
  • Familiar with the Singapore education system and curriculum, government procurement standards will be advantageous
