Job Descriptions

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for mapping the talent acquisition and retention strategy :

(a) positioning and branding the Company as an employer of choice in its core business areas ;

(b) attracting quality candidates and ensuring manpower needs are met ;

(c) partnering with business unit on manpower planning and preparing the annual manpower budget

(d) exploring various recruitment avenues and establish strong relationship with educational institutions to tap on their database of good students and alumni.

(e) establishing and maintaining a structured career development plan

(f) maintaining a robust job structure and ensuring all job descriptions are updated

  • Establish and maintain structured internship programs for the business units
  • Manage compensation & benefits and drive a pay for performance culture through recommending policies that link rewards to performance
  • Manage the annual performance appraisal and salary review exercises including coaching line managers on setting KPIs performance evaluation, and communicating results to their staff
  • Manage employee relations issues including conducting exit interviews, coaching individual employees and line managers in dealing with departmental disciplinary and performance issues
  • Oversee the HRIS and work closely with IT vendors/consultants to develop and enhance our HRIS for greater efficiency
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing including employer CPF contribution and year-end employee remuneration filing with the IRAS
  • Lead and/or support in various HR projects or initiatives


  • Degree from a recognized University
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the full spectrum of HR function preferably from the retail, F&B or hospitality industry
  • Proven record in managing a team
  • In-depth knowledge on the employment legislations in Singapore
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken English and Mandarin)
  • Independent, proactive with good judgement and integrity
