Responsibilities
Develop existing and new customers within the industry vertical
Support local sales team with his/her industry expertise when required
Coordinate sales activities for assigned accounts with the Area Vertical Head
Develop, build rapport and nurture long-term partnerships with the Target Accounts within his/her area, translating Client’s global capabilities into customer values for maintaining and continually expanding the account share.
Organize and participate in regular reviews with the accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable business relationship
Foster and implement specific industry know-how throughout his/her country
Support successful business handover with Sales and Operations
Increase contribution margin (CM) within the industry vertical
Develop industry vertical case studies
Organize and coordinate SCM products/activities for the Strategic Key accounts within the industry vertical
Utilize specific industry knowledge to diagnose supply chain needs. Develop and prepare strategic proposals. Participate in customer generated RFI, RFQ and RFP.
CRM maintenance and update for assigned/responsible customer accounts. Establish guidelines and standards and conduct implementation processes, customer SOP’s, reporting frequency and formats, design KPI’s for new accounts.
Ensure that pricing and services offered to all relevant accounts are in line with “best in class”
Supervise the maintenance and improvement of the quality standard required by the specific industry segment. Propose, justify and implement necessary investments (IT tools, hard-and software, assets etc.).
Enhance Client’s position and personal expertise in the product segment through contacts with prospects, presence at fairs/exhibitions, as well as workshops and seminars.
Functional Requirements
Functional know-how in air and ocean freight, logistics or brokerage
Knowledge of forwarding and supply chain management systems
In-depth industry vertical knowledge – Consumer & Retail/Fashion or High Tech/Telecom

Qualifications & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing/Logistics/Supply Chain
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Minimum 3 years of Marketing & Sales experience
Fluent in English and preferably other languages
