Infection Control Co-ordinator
Job Duties:
To ensure ongoing surveillance to monitor and track healthcare associated infections using established criteria
To review laboratory reports and follow up on records for evidence of infection and determine need for isolation and or reporting
To monitor patient care practices, hospital practices, equipment and technique to ensure that they comply with standards of infections control.
To provide status reports on Infection Control
To keep accurate records of healthcare associated infections
Requirements:
Registered Nurse / medical practitioners with a Degree from a recognized university. Trained in infection control with a strong interest in quality and infection control.
Min 5 years working experience in a healthcare environment of which 2 years are in infection control
Competent in MS Office
Location Central area
