Key Responsibilities - IT Project Manager (Retail Banking)
  • You will be for part of a development team, designing, developing and implementing monitoring solutions that provide visibility into the health and performance of applications and systems

Responsibilities - IT Project Manager (Retail Banking)
  • Manage the maintenance or development / implementation of IT system
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
  • Confer with management, technical and business staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  • Coordinate project estimating process
  • Provide project management expertise to multiple concurrent cross-divisional project efforts.
  • Direct a mix of internal and outsourced/vendor, locate and remote resources for project delivery.
  • Embrace teamwork while promoting a culture of openness and flexibility.
  • Provide the necessary expertise, direction, motivation and encouragement to the team.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, flexibility, adaptability to changes in roles and responsibility as required.
  • Able to coordinate/manage up to 10 projects; Support other PMs with larger efforts

Prerequisites - IT Project Manager (Retail Banking)
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • Good to have PMP certification
  • Minimum of 8 years project management experience required, preferably with payments systems, billing applications, switching systems, transactional services systems using formal project management methodology
  • Technical Expertize: East Good to have Java, J2ee experience, open to candidates with OOAD, C, C++ experience and willing to pick up Java, J2ee technologies eventually
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in the delivery of large scale software development, operational and integration efforts
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation production support, including quality assurance and system integration
  • Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices
  • Deep understanding of client contract management and incentives programs preferred
  • Team player; able to communicate with technical and business experts at all levels of the organization
  • Solid analytical skills; able to think strategically

  • You will be responsible for meeting up with Clients to understand their requirements and formulating appropriate solutions (from design to proposal)
  • You will need to work close with various Project Managers during designing & development phase
  • Understand and gather client requirements
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
  • Documentations via detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients
  • Confer with management, technical and business staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  • Coordinate project estimating process
  • Provide consultative design expertise to multiple concurrent cross-divisional project efforts
  • Provide the necessary expertise, direction, motivation and encouragement to the development team
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, flexibility, adaptability to changes in roles and responsibility as required
