Organisation: Passenger Sales & Marketing - Outside Sales Team

Salary Grade: $ 3,800 - $ 4,200

Work Hours: 09 00 - 18 00 5 days week (Sat/Sun Off)

Place of Work: Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 and satellite offices

Reports to: Sales Manager and Director Sales & Marketing

Role Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for reaching his/her Sales targets by farming existing accounts and hunting for new business. He/she will develop and steer accounts comprising of both Agency and Corporate through personal Sales Visits/Calls. The candidate will also manage his/her portfolio by monitoring Sales figures and ensuring irreprehensible service to the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainable relationship by farming key accounts;
  • Contracts negotiation with existing companies, travel management companies and high potential corporates;
  • Hunting for new business through Sales Leads processing to ensure optimum success rate;
  • Familiar with JL and Joint Business Partner fares and products and be able to promote the solution which best suits the needs of the customers;
  • Keep abreast of distribution strategy in order to best serve our customers on the most adequate channel;
  • Evaluation of monthly accounts performance and devising follow-up measures;
  • Weekly sales visits planning and portfolio management;
  • Preparation of materials and figures for sales visits/calls;
  • Passing on relevant market insights to management;
  • Design and execution of sales promotion activities as well as incentives to enhance sales;
  • Relevant market feedback with Sales Manager including performance review and target setting;
  • Handle special tasks assigned by Sales Manager and ad hoc duty as may reasonably be required.

Qualifications: (knowledge/skills)

Qualification & Experience

  • More than 3 years’ experience within account management, sales or marketing preferably in the Travel or Airlines industry
  • Demonstrated record of developing a portfolio of accounts
  • Market, product and pricing knowhow desirable
  • Knowledge of airlines distribution model
  • MS Office, esp. Excel PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Japanese
