Logistic Officer, Aviation Industry ($ Negotiable / MNC/ Immediate) North-East
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all required work carried out is in compliance with the applicable MOE procedures, Manufacturers' instructions, Aviation Regulations, and any applicable data approved or accepted by the Authority.
Check incoming and outgoing material, for proper paperwork, condition of part, packing and processing.
Control that all stored material is acceptable for use as approved aviation material.
Control all stored tools and test equipment are kept in clean & serviceable condition in an orderly manner with easy access and a good overview. Maintain tools and perform minor repairs if possible internally. Manage other required repairs with external service providers in co-operation with purchasing specialists in SCM.
Manage tool & equipment issue and receipt processes and calibration cycles.
Perform of incoming inspections of all received parts and material in accordance with the Aviation Regulations and company procedures and update IT- systems in real time.
Manage communication of arrival of urgent material to other departments e.g. SCM, Planning, Maintenance.
Issue Material to Maintenance personnel and real time update of IT- systems.
Keep all material and logistic documentation and further production means at disposal.
Proper labeling of parts and material before issuance to the store or any other recipient respectively.
Shipping of unserviceable repairable parts to outside repair shops, including proper documentation.
Shipping of serviceable parts to customers ensuring proper documentation, serviceable tag and packing.
Participate in partial and full stock takes.
Track and ensure timely Rotable core return activities. Communicate expiring core return cycles appropriately ahead of the expiration date towards other departments e.g. Maintenance Product Manager and Planning.
Work in extended shifts during the week and on weekends.
Work in repetitive Duty SCM/ Logistics cycles afterhours and on weekends.
Supports in all Logistics and various Supply Chain activities of Singapore and Malaysia office.
Requirements:
Diploma in Supply Chain Manager or Logistics is an advantage.
Accreditation with relevant professional agencies is an advantage. i.e. Logistics.
Preferably 2 years of working experience in Logistics.
Experience in Aerospace MRO environment is plus.
Able to communicate with internal and external Customers and Vendors effectively in English both spoken and written.
Mature disposition with a keen business perspective in customer communication and relation.
Proficient in MS Office, IT savvy.
General driver and a Forklift license in possession is an advantage.
