You will be required to manage the operation and maintenance activities in the Structures Branch. Your role would include financial planning, monitoring, controlling and optimizing the resources for operation and maintenance activities. This would include:
Ensure that all buildings and structures are safe for MRT operations by implementing an effective facilities maintenance and inspection programme;
Ensure expenditure is within approved budget by approving and monitoring the action plans submitted in the branch;
Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency by monitoring and reviewing the schedule of civil/structural/architectural aspects of work and services; and
Develop and enhance work procedures, monitoring performance and implement safety & quality assurance programme.
Requirements:
You should have a Degree in Building or Civil & Structural Engineering or Architectural with at least 6 years of relevant work experience. You should be a strategic thinker who is resourceful, strong in paper work, business minded and possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skill. Candidates with previous work experience in construction projects’ management, railway infrastructure maintenance in managing buildings, foundations, bridges, viaducts, tunnels and concrete structures will have an added advantage.
