Job Descriptions

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Engage foreign governments, create ICT thought leadership and awareness / mindshare to facilitate G2G, G2B or B2B partnerships and business opportunities

    - Conduct delegation briefings
    - Lead business missions to target markets
    - Organise companies to participate in international trade shows
  • Support IDA's overseas offices in providing updates on Singapore ICT development, and initiatives with the objective of growing Singapore ICT companies' overseas capabilities, and within the policies and guidelines of IDA.

    - Timely updates on significant projects in Singapore, especially eGov initiatives
    - Marketing and publicity materials
  • Understand the market landscapes and be able to overcome the cultural and operational differences in the various markets
  • Work with Singapore-based ICT companies to pursue market opportunities

    - Understanding companies' capabilities and solutions
    - Understanding clients' requirements in their ICT development
    - Encourage potential companies to expand overseas
    - Enable consortium forming as required
  • Prepare meeting and trip briefs for overseas missions in pursuance of industry development work.
  • Manage projects undertaken, including monitoring progress of projects, submitting regular reports, managing funds disbursement.

Applicants should possess the following requirements and experience:

  • At least a Bachelor degree
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of experience working in the ICT industry
  • Strong knowledge in ICT development in Singapore
  • Experience in dealing in a foreign environment
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation/influencing skills
