Job Descriptions


  • Able to conceptualise, plan, and run art-based workshop for various audiences
  • Conceive and plan a range of museum programmes of educational value and wide appeal. Encourage and enhance participation from outside groups, sponsors, donors, educators and students
  • Work closely with Curatorial, Marketing and Exhibition teams within the museum and / or external artists to develop innovative learning opportunities in the permanent collection and special exhibitions
  • Design museum experiences which may include festivals, open houses, exhibition-themed activities, evening events, performances, outreach events and/or gallery trails, interactive stations and exhibits, education kits, and student worksheets
  • Increase awareness of ACM and its collection through technology and/or hands-on strategies
  • Source and manage vendors/facilitators for various projects, coordination and liaison, and oversee and manage the procurement, fabrication and design process
  • Assist in the operational coordination, including marketing, estate requirements, partner liaison, public queries, and after-event reports
  • Research on visitor behaviour through observational and written surveys to enhance educational programmes; as well as, on teaching and learning strategies to strengthen design rationale of museum experiences.


  • A good degree in a relevant field required
  • Teaching experience in formal and informal settings (e.g. community-based) is a must
  • At least three years’ working experience in an educational, arts or cultural institution
  • Demonstrate competent knowledge and relevant skills for various visual art practices such as drawing, pottery and/or print-making
