Description

Reporting to the Global Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for generating demand and engaging clients to hit regional revenue targets. Working with selected agencies and group marketing, your role will require you to produce content, deliver creative, integrated, multi-media campaigns to power business development and client sales commercial success. Other responsibilities include:

  • Create a marketing strategy, rolling quarterly programme, and resource budget
  • Work closely with business development and group marketing teams to focus on prospects and clients, as well as develop and create compelling content, sales materials
  • Use CRM and marketing automation tools effectively and train the local sales people
  • Lead and manage a team, with support from appropriate local agencies or support functions

Profile

The successful candidate will possess

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, where a postgraduate degree is an added advantage
  • Ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively with other teams
  • 6 to 8 years of experience working closely with businesses to roll out marketing strategies
  • Strong communicator for the delivery of ideas to both top management across the region
  • Passion and solid interest for the retail and consumer products category
  • Flexibility of travelling of up to 20% as this role will eventually become a regional role
