Purpose of the position

  • Deliver financial results in-line with agreed budgets and targets

Key Tasks

  • Generate profit by scouring and securing new business and achieve targets in line with the sales plan.
  • Work out GP projection and long/short term action plan to achieve target
  • Identify sales targets in accordance with the sales plan
  • Secure Panalpina business by assuring Company reliability and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for the preparation and timely submission of customers’ request for quotation and / or request for information.
  • Work together with O & G operations managers to implement concepts / solutions as proposed and approved by customers; Follow through till project stabilizes before handing over to operations
  • Build up a strong business relationship with customers and create awareness of Company within the customers organization and vice versa
  • Carry out sales calls, sales visits in accordance with KPI
  • Execute sales process
  • Assure successful client integration
  • Provide client and target information, maintenance of Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Assist Finance to achieve the desire DSO target
  • Perform other job duties as requested by the HOD

  • Functional experience in air / sea / customs brokerage
  • Basic sales knowledge
  • Complete understanding of PA service offering and pricing policy
  • Understanding of PA (strategy, products and solutions)
  • Local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers)
  • Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer    requirements, analysis and resolution of problems and complaints

Educational background / Work experience
