Product Manager - (1) IBM Hardware / (2) IBM Software / (3) HP

 Inside Sales Administrative Executive (NetApp)
 Key Responsibilities:

To assist the NetApp division in backend operations like order loading, filing, generating services contract, assist partner(s) to make claims to Vendors for rebates entitlement.  As well as working closely with Marketing in providing supporting documents on programs executed.



Key Requirements:

  • Diploma holder or higher with minimum of 2 years industry experience working in an IT environment with strong administrative experiences.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills is mandatory.

SAP Analyst

 Key Responsibilities:


 Participate in the development, maintenance and enhancement of the functional areas of the SAP modules.
 Collaborate with remote SAP team and internal customers to identify user requirements, assess available technologies and recommend solution options.
 Work with SAP team and training manager to enable SAP super users as first level SAP end user supports, and the SAP Analyst being the 2nd level of supports, backed by remote SAP teams as higher level of supports.
 Primarily focus on internal customers in Singapore and Malaysia offices, responsibility may expand to offices in other Asean countries.
 Some travelling in the Asia Pacific regions will be required.
 Candidate with more experiences may be considered for the position of Senior SAP Analyst



Key Requirements :


 Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent, training in SAP module configuration
 At least 4 years SAP experience in two of the modules: SD, MM, WM, FI/CO.

Software Engineer (IBM Middleware)

Key Responsibilities:


The Software Engineer is responsible for providing subject-matter expertise and thought leadership, providing an in-depth technical understanding of solution in software services particularly in IBM middleware solution space.


Very strong business and technical understanding is required to demonstrate/explain/implement the latest middleware/backup technologies and solutions can fulfill the business requirements of customers.


Knowledge of the following product suites is mandatory


  • Technically strong in providing support and implementation (hand-on) services in IBM Middleware solution, i.e WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere MQ and other messaging tool (i.e Broker, Datapower)
  • Working knowledge of the IBM Tivoli product especially IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) or any other backup solution (Symantec/CA)
  • Working Knowledge of Monitoring solution i.e Tivoli Monitoring
  • Knowledge of DB2/Oracle will be added advantage

 - Work with the Service Delivery Sales Manager to identify current and future customer projects, which have the potential to include Avnet’s product line cards especially in the IBM Software services solutions. Proactively stay abreast of middleware solution and backup solution and their potential applicability with customer engagements.


- Able to identify the services opportunities in the software services infrastructure areas and a hand-on person to implement the proposed solutions.


- building relationships across customer's IT silos to understand, build, document and share knowledge of their infrastructure, challenges and potential technical impact of planned projects. Develop credibility with the customer's technical management, senior management and key executives


- Act as primary contact for post-sales activities into particular opportunities


- Articulate customers’ business and technical objectives and transform it into technical solutions.


- Provide solution architect, implementation and post-sales support services. This is include trouble-shooting, performance tuning and etc.



Key Requirements :


Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years detailed technical industry related experience working hands-on with middleware solution especially IBM middleware suites and/or applications, coupled with experience working with customers, sales personnel and/or customer services as well as knowledge of the industry disciplines, technologies and applications relevant to networking infrastructure and security.


Candidates must have superior presentation and communications skills, expert level of hands-on expertise and knowledge on at least one or more main Operating systems and major hardware platforms. Current certification in domain specific area of expertise a strong plus and a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and training is preferred. 




Repair Engineer & Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

 To perform component and board level repair activities on components returned for corrective action per technical specifications defined wiring drawings, schematics, test procedures, and repair services directives and procedures.

 To perform calibration activities on products per technical specifications defined in calibration procedures, directives and procedures.

 Responsible to ensure all technical specifications, test procedures, QC procedures and Repair Service Directives are followed and adhered to as applicable.

 To complete all repair documentation requirements in a timely, professional, and literate fashion as defined in current departmental directives and procedures.

 Test, troubleshoots and repair complex units where procedures are not always well defined.

 Perform soldering and board rework as necessary.

 Traces and tests circuits on units to locate defects, completes modifications on electronic equipment by adding, removing or altering components and/or wiring according to established standards.

 Uses a variety of test equipment to include standard, bench-type, automatic test equipment, and non-standard, specialized measuring instruments.

 Follow through with parts on order to meet expected TAT.

 Close service jobs, produce quality repair report as required in a timely manner and meets expected TAT.

 Keep control of documentation, tools and test equipment.

 Meet or exceed group and/or individual performance goals and objectives

 Follow ISO procedures and maintain compliance in all aspects

 Other duties as assigned by Manager



 At least 3-5 years’ experience in service industry, in IT lifecycle Repair Center environment

 Associates degree in Electronics or related field required.

 Degree in Electronics or equivalent Diploma with 3-5 years relevant experience.

 Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports

 Ability to respond to common inquiries from internal or external sources

 Highly organized and flexible with good time management

 Proficiency in English and ability to communicate in writing and verbally with all employees

 Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines

 Knowledge and experience of and with ESD handling




Customer Service Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist sales in preparing the Sales order and other internal documents
  • To match customer PO with sales information provided by sales
  • Key liaise with customer
  • To provide weekly order status updates to customer
  • To obtain delivery instruction from customer
  • Resolve complaints/feedback from customer and escalate it to the various levels
  • To follow up the AR status with customer


Key Requirements :

  • Min education level GCE ‘O’ level or Diploma
