Responsible for planning, supply allocation and inventory control and to ensure production/materials planning functions are fulfilled
Review and analyze MRP/ERP Shortage report to raise pourchase request to Purchasing and to ensure availability of raw materials to support schedules
Provide technical support on raw materials management for day-to-day business activities - address immediate shortages not covered by routine replenishments, highlight potential raw materials shortfalls and to work out contingency plans
Liaise with suppliers, vendors and customers to coordinate shipments.
Production planning and scheduling, as well as liaising with production, purchasing and service teams on outsanding customer's orders and schedule plans
Improve work processes to ensure efficient and effective execution of day to day planning activities
Work and review with CSE, inter-department planners and purchasing team to maintain optimum inventory level of raw materials
Review safety inventory levels and coordinate & control forecast, transfer and changes
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma/NITEC in Engineering, Logistics or Business Discipline
At least 1 year of experience as a Demand/Production/Material Planner/Assistant
