JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Quality and Technical Guidance:
    • Able to interpret and analyze the criteria under the various accreditation standards and provide technical advice to the School's/University's offices on how these criteria can be met.
    • Provide support for the definition, development and deployment of quality assurance strategy within the Undergraduate Office (Administration).
  • Quality Management:
    • Ensures delivery of the School's accreditation goals and objectives, i.e. meeting commitments and coordinating the various accreditation timeline.
    • Responsible for the implementation of assessments outlined in the AACSB Assurance of Learning (AOL) assessment plan and be responsible for compiling the data and report for each assessment.
    • Provide support for the analysis of the School's AOL and faculty sufficiency and qualification statistics.
    • Provide end-user support to the Office of Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS) during the design and implementation of the accreditation system.
  • Organizational Liaison:
    • Key Liaison person to coordinate with the School's Undergraduate (UG) and Graduate (PG) Programme Offices as well as the University's central administrative offices and School of Accountancy (for AACSB accreditation) to ensure that the accreditation processes, documentations, meetings, follow-ups, reporting, co-ordination, statistics collation and analyses, process implementation, pre, initial, and post-accreditation maintenance are in order.
    • Liaise with overseas accrediting bodies including AACSB International, EFMD and AMBA for accreditation related matters.
    • Key person to spearhead all AOL-related initiatives and to coordinate with the respective UG and PG Offices and Course Coordinators to ensure that the goals of AOL are met and the AOL assessment plan is well-executed.
  • Documentation Management for Quality Assurance:
    • Identify the requirements for documentation under the respective accreditation standards as well as any other documentation required for quality assurance in the School.
    • Design and develop a process to facilitate the submission and storage of documents and information required to meet the standards under the various accreditation including AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA (e.g. end of term submission of grades for AOL).
    • Prepare, collate and organize the relevant documentations and paperwork required in the Accreditation Office for review by Peer Review Team (PRT) members during their visit.
  • Oversee the Administrative Support for Accreditation:
    • Responsible for preparation and submission of the school's accreditation reports.
    • Plan and manage schedule as well as coordinate the various meetings and programmes arranged during PRT visits.
    • Manage the travel, accommodation and transport logistics for all accreditation related visits, e.g. Eligibility, Mentor and PRT visit. Assist PRT members in their reimbursements and claims for their trips.
    • Provide secretariat support for all accreditation related meetings.
    • Track the expenditure under the School''s accreditation budget.
  • Maintenance of School'='s International Profile:
    • Collating information from various offices for memberships in international organizations including PRME and United Nations Global Compact membership.
  • Oversee the administrative support for Rankings:
    • Identify the requirements for documentation for submission of rankings by the School.
    • Coordinate with the different units to prepare, collate and organize the relevant documentations and paperwork required as per rankings'' guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree with minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience relevant to this position or acquired in an academic setting will be advantageous.
  • A diligent worker who is analytical, organized and meticulous with a good eye for details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player who works well with staff and faculty.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, able to interact with staff, students, faculty and external academia.
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office and preferably Dreamweaver.
  • Prior experience in AACSB, EQUIS or AMBA accreditation is preferred.
  • Ability to understand AACSB, EQUIS and other international accreditations' multiple standards and requirements; work with various units and offices in the School and University in gathering information and collating data to meet the accreditation requirements; sensitivity and maturity in handling matters pertaining to accreditation.
