Position Description:

  • Conduct AD biweekly review from FAA & EASA website and issue review report, update the AD monitoring database, as well as host AD weekly/monthly review meeting with customers
  • Liaise with maintenance planners from Technical Services to deal with any concern or question from customers with regard to AD execution, and distribute the relevant paperwork to the different process owners from MRO and Airline
  • Conduct internal audits, build up and maintain the internal audit system, monitor the progress of corrective actions and closure in the Boeing MET system, and file all relevant audit documentation
  • Act as the QMS/SMS focal in leading the SAG team and activities
  • Participate in the Fleet Management (FM) audit activities in this region
  • Assist the QM in maintaining the FM program manual, DOA (Design Organization Approval) Exposition Manual, and SOP
  • Conduct sub-contractor audits, build up and maintain an approved sub-contractors list, monitor corrective actions and closure, and file all relevant audit documentation.
  • Conduct vendor (POA) audits, build up and maintain an approved vendors list, monitor corrective actions and closure, and file all relevant audit documentation
  • Maintain the latest airworthiness publications from Air Authorities
  • Maintain technical publications and specifications in the centralized technical library
  • Build up and maintain a training records system for all qualified staff, as well as maintain and update the files of training records for each qualified staff
  • Maintain and control all active forms in the Fleet Management program and DOA
  • Assist the QM in any external audit (DOA CAAS audit, AOC CAAS audit, or Customer audit) follow-up, as well as monitor the progress of corrective actions and closure to ensure that the current FM program continues to be in compliance with regulatory agencies and customers’ requirements
  • Participate in any incident/accident investigation related to the DOA or FM program, in coordination with relevant regulatory agencies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to management, and as a special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives
  • Manage any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management


  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 6-10 years' related work experience, a Master's Degree and at least 4-8 years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess at least 8 years’ experience in commercial aviation, and preferably at least 3 years’ relevant quality assurance or audit experiences
  • Able to perform work with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment -Effects of decisions are long-lasting and will heavily influence the future course of the organization, and errors in judgment or failure in achieving results may lead to the significant expenditure of company resources
  • Able to regularly contribute to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards
  • Able to be recognized as a job expert within the department and organization
  • Able to develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Able to ensure that solutions are consistent with organization objectives
