Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for full sets of accounts, AP, AR, GL and monthly reports
  • Monitor and report reinsurance premiums, claims and outstanding claims
  • Checking invoices/expenses are properly authorized and process payment when due
  • Invoice clients for services provided, prepare cheques or input online for payment
  • Assist in bank reconciliation
  • Reviewing all accounts before month close
  • Prepare necessary journal entries, trial balance, balance sheet including schedules
  • Handle validation, reconciliation of claims for payment
  • Prepare weekly and monthly claims reports for entities
  • Liaise with auditors, prepare Financial Statements for audit including Audit Schedules
  • Assist in the preparation of GST reports
  • Working closely with vendor on maintenance and update the Accounting software


  • Diploma/Degre holder
  • At least 2 years of accounting/finance experience in insurance/reinsurance firms
  • Possessoperational accounting experience
  • Numerical skills and good proficiency in Excel
  • Proactive team player who is meticulous and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude with strong adaptability
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels
