The Relationship Manager - ASEAN has wide ranging responsibilities to scan business opportunities, manage relationships with corporates in the region across products and prepare & present credit proposals in order to achieve business objectives/targets.

Client Details

This South Asian bank has had an office in Singapore for over 10 years. They are a highly recognisable name in their home country and have ambitious plans to expand across the ASEAN region. A massive part of this will be through an increase in corporate banking size through new client acquisitions and deepening wallet spend.

Description

The Relationship Manager - ASEAN position has come about as a replacement role for an employee that has moved back to their home office as a promotion. The previous incumbent had a solid portfolio that needs someone to service it quickly. Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:-

  • Originating new corporate customers and developing and maintaining good relationships with the customers in ASEAN
  • Preparing credit proposals and coordinating with the risk department for approvals
  • Credit monitoring and asset reviews of the portfolio including being compliant with appropriate credit terms / regulations
  • Meeting business targets across products and business verticals
  • Executing transactions in a timely and efficient manner in line with customer expectation
  • Maintaining credit files and ensuring safe custody of all documents

Profile
