Business Analyst -70%

Job Responsibilities:      

  • Perform business planning, analysis, reporting and budgeting activities
  • Prepare and develop various customized reports including forecast and budget to improve decision making processes and increase analytical capabilities across the region.
  • Coordinate and consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and review it accordingly to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management reports and monitor operating and capital expenditure against budgets.
  • Analyze business performance, monitor, review key performance indicators and identify risks and opportunities
  • Timely and accurate reporting of business results in various deliverables.
  • Prepare and present various presentations to senior executives for business reviews
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior executives
  • Participate in special projects, including automation efforts and other improvements in the reporting process to streamline and increase effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with various business units to ensure the results are reasonable and variances are researched and explained.

Retail Operations- 30 %

Job Responsibilities:       

  • Main contact point between franchisees and Singapore HQ office
  • Oversee territorial operations in alignment to Singapore HQ objectives
  • Achieve sales target and growth at assigned regions
  • Liaise directly with the franchisee to ensure retail excellence in accordance to brand guidelines through store fit out, customer service, VM and operations.
  • Generate and analyze reports and act accordingly
  • Work with various business units e.g. marketing, visual merchandising, product design and learning & development to cascade the business requirements and corporate standards to franchisees
  • Monitor and work closely with franchisees to ensure compliant of branding, corporate standards and business requirements
  • Prepare and present necessary reports to management.
  • Willing to travel extensively to different regions APAC, Middle East, Europe etc

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy / Business / Finance / CPA / ACCA or related disciplines preferably with 2 years of experience
  • Auditing experience is highly preferred
  • Highly analytical
  • Solid financial analysis background.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Powerpoint / Word / Advanced Excel)
  • Pro-active, independent and meticulous
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to complete multi-tasks in a timely manner
  • Competent in data management
  • Excellent business sense with regional experience in franchise business and international retailing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with effective command in English and other foreign language e.g.: Japanese, French, German, Russian, etc
  • Fresh university graduates are welcome to apply
