Job Descriptions

Sales Manager



  • To achieve an agreed sales volume target for new and used cars
  • Must exploit potential to the full and secure the revenues of the dealership
  • The aim should be to use high-quality service and professional customer care to bind customers and potential customers to the Group, to the dealership and to the Sales Consultant in person
  • To analyse market potential and ensure exploitation of that potential
  • To divide the sales territory into clearly defined Sales Consultant areas
  • To implement standards / guideline values for Sales
  • To set qualitative & quantitative targets for prospecting, sales and customer care (Example: Events, follow up lead generation)
  • To create and update organization sheet and job descriptions in Sales
  • To plan personnel requirements in Sales (recruitment / dismissal)
  • To be involved in the selection of personnel
  • To carry out regular feedback / check discussions
  • To specify performance-based payment of commission for sales personnel
  • To promote further training of sales personnel
  • To monitor standards / guideline values for Sales
  • To make systematic use of management resources, geographic data and sales systems
  • To be responsible for the showroom (decoration, cars, etc.)
  • To assist customer satisfaction and loyalty - including handling "difficult" customer discussions
  • To be responsible for handling complaints and legal problems
  • To be responsible for Demo car management and sales trainings
  • To organize regular sales management
  • To monitor sales volume and revenues on a continuous basis (daily/monthly report)
  • To monitor Dealer Comparison data for Sales
  • Handle a team consisting of Showroom Manager, sales consultant, admin and receptionists


  • Min GCE 'O' level or/and Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent
  • Possess valid class 3 driving license and preferably with own transport
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • Possess strong project management skills with ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight time lines and expectations
  • Ability to develop and implement both strategic programmes and the supporting tactics
  • Good critical thinking, using logical reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, reach conclusions and adopt approaches to problems
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Great personality with a natural ability to establish and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Candidates whom are able to start work in short notice highly preferred
