Job Descriptions

Our client, an established pre-school, childcare and healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end learning and development process, including:
    • Co-ordinate a learning needs analysis process amongst stakeholders.
    • Create and execute learning strategies and programmes to achieve stakeholders’ goals
    • Monitor and track learning and development activities within the organization, including publishing / implementing an appropriate training calendar
    • Evaluate training and learning and their impact on staff’s knowledge and practice, and use this to achieve continuous improvement
    • Evaluate individual and organizational learning and development needs
  • Implement various learning methods organization-wide (e.g. coaching, attachment, online learning)
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders on the design and delivery of e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
  • Appoint, quality assure and manage contracts with external trainers and training providers
  • Manage within allocated budget and in compliance with Financial Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure that the L&D function is administered efficiently and effectively
  • Implement People Development Programmes, develop talent through various learning and talent initiatives in line with business needs and driving improvement sin capability development at all levels
  • Drive strategic learning solutions and programs, include leading the design and recommend learning solutions, formulate initiatives to build and sustain a performance-driven culture.
  • Administer and maintain HRIS/L&D module
  • Any other matters in support of Reporting Officer / Division’s goals

Job Holder Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Training and Development or higher
  • 8 years in managing overall strategic direction and development of certification programme
  • 8 years in developing and executing training programmes
  • Preferably with prior working experience in a large MNC environment
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Familiar with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (HRIS / L&D Module)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Good team player with effective problem solving skills
  • Able to work with initiative and independence
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills; ability to interpret large amounts of data and information to create and execute workable solutions
  • Strong planning and organization skills; ability to think ahead and conceptualize and plan
  • Able to build rapport with employees and vendors
