Job Descriptions

The incumbent will plan, lead, organise and manage the Building & Facilities services in support of an efficient patient care in accordance with the Foundation’s philosophy, policies and procedures.

Beyond reviewing the existing operations, the incumbent plays a strategic role in driving the efficient provision of services (in collaboration with other HODs) while ensuring resources (manpower inclusive) and budgets are optmised in fulfilling the deliverables.

Facility Management & Operations

Responsible for overseeing and management of the operations of Building & Facilities which includes:

  • Provide leadership direction and guidance to all staff while ensuring all facilities are functional and safe

  • Provide oversight and management of all facility maintenance and renovation projects

  • Assist in the development of departmental budgets, financial planning and procument of equipments & services

  • Administer online program surveys to assess internal customer’s satisfaction levels, feedback and achievement of learning objectives

Risk Management

Responsible for overseeing the departmental risk management plans and procedures which includes:

  • Be the primary safety and risk manager to assess and evaluate the potential safety risks of all facilities

  • Collaborate closely with Risk Management Committee by providing feedback and follow-up documentation regarding to incident and accident reports related to injuries, facility operations, policies, security and conduct issues

  • Colloborate closely with Risk Management Committee by providing feedback for Emergency Action Plans and to ensure that staff is certified in CPR, First-Aid and AED Usage and monitor Risk Management Training

Staff Development

Responsible for the development and growth of staff which includes:

  • Assess and review current training and developmental needs for all staff

  • Formulate and propose career progression for all staff

  • Monitor, review and engage staff in work performance aspect
