Job Descriptions

Service Advisor / Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Attend to customers’ queries, request and complaints through the highest quality service and to ensure smooth operations within reception area
  • Assists to make booking of appointment for customers
  • Prepare job card with details like standard text, suspected faults, recommendations of required repairs and customers’ request
  • Update customers periodically on the status of the service and repair and advise on the estimated date of completion
  • Able to follow up on job with the workshop and to ensure all agreed repairs are carried out according to the deadline
  • Preparation of tax invoice
  • Inform customer once vehicle is ready for collection and advise on the amount payable
  • Able to provide customers comprehensive quotations for service/body repairs and body repairs in a shortest time possible
  • Obtains feedback from customers on service level for superior to highlight to the management for improvement
  • Assist Customer Service Manager on implementation of system, changes, rules and regulations
  • Perform follow up calls to customers to understand their view on job done a week ago
  • Able to ensure that his team practices good housekeeping of the reception area at all times
  • Complies to all rules and regulations stipulated by the company on general code of conduct and safety
  • Request approval of parts and to follow up closely with parts department on all indent parts requested by customers and contact customers for appointment once parts arrive
  • To contact customers to convince/remind them to send in their vehicles for the additional jobs recommended during the previous service/repairs

Requirements:

  • Customer service oriented with minimum 3 years of related automotive experience
  • Familiar with insurance claims procedures and possesses problem solving skills
