A global MNC is looking for passionate professionals to venture into an exciting career in the field of Unified Communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute scheduled maintenance program for all Production & Corporate infrastructure
  • Diagnosis of software and hardware and provide solutions, repairs and replacements as necessary
  • Manager Tier 1 & 2 level support, and timely escalation of critical cases to the Operations Manager and/or APAC Operations
  • Manage cases in accordance with ITIL best practice methodology ensuring priority given to those which are customer affecting
  • Test new releases and patches as supplied by vendors for Production and Corporate systems
  • Experience in implementing and deployment with Unified Communication such as PABX and Microsoft Lync
  • Work together with the Operations Team in the installation, configuration and testing of equipment at the Data Centre
  • Work with Regional Service Operations Team on Regional testing for Anywhere (WEB), Unified Communication Platform (UC) and Cloud Platform (CCP)
  • Work with Sales/Project team, provides application solutions proposals, documents functional and application for Customer
  • Project basis assignment will be required

Requirements:

  • Experience in basic network, security policy architecture design
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem analytical skill and good hands-on experience in monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise networks
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and organizational skills
  • Microsoft or equivalent certifications (MCSE, good to have MS LYNC)
  • Networking certifications (CCNP)
  • Knowledge in Incident Management software within Telecommunication field (desirable)
  • Previous experience in Microsoft, VM-Ware & Linux Operating Systems as well as Microsoft Desktop Products
  • Previous experience in developing and improving IT & T capabilities
  • On-call duty is expected
  • As some of our partners and clients are mandarin speaking, knowledge of conversational mandarin is preferred.
  • Minimum Network Engineer (UC related) Experience: 3 years
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
