Responsibilities

You will manage key accounts and grow the stable of Student newspaper circulation in the schools’ sector. This position will need to strengthen and build relations with key and identify potential business opportunities of new and existing accounts including establishing initial contacts that will open doors for new sales. The incumbent will also assist to develop market penetration and new account development strategies to defend and increase market share. You must work closely with other functional teams within SPH to secure business and ensure seamless delivery of contractual obligations. You will be responsible for building effective relationships with decision makers which include tasks like regular meetings and presentations with sales channels, seizing new sales opportunity, sourcing for sponsorships, bulk-buy opportunities and assisting with events / road shows.  

 

Requirements 

  •  A good degree, preferably in Business Administration/Marketing with minimum 2 years of relevant experience  
  •  Must have high level of motivation to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment 
  •  Must be well organised, self-motivated, with a positive attitude 
  •  Strong selling, good communication and professional attitude 
  • Good command of English and another 2nd language with good presentation skills 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
