Responsibilities

As a member of the Marketing Communications team within SPH’s Integrated Marketing division, we are responsible to help shape the voice and communication of all our brands and products in SPH. We are made up of energetic and passionate minds to help rejuvenate our brand planning and marketing communications strategies. 

 

We have many great brands and products but we want Singapore to know what these products stand for, what it can do and what problems it solves for the consumers. As the brand coordinator, we want you to work and collaborate with all our brand communications teams working across some of the best brand initiatives that we run for our brands. The work will include some of the largest event engagements in Singapore including Singapore Coffee Festival, Straits Times Global Outlook, Cars @ Expo, Miss Universe, TNP New Face, etc. 

 

What makes some of these events successful would be a great team and a key coordinator that supports the team. We want to hire a person with a keen interest in working on revenue projects, consumer and trade event engagements and generally all communications related to the brand.  

 

We want to find a person that bleeds passion and has an amazing capability of being able to work with all our different stakeholders including consumers, clients, event organisers, team members, etc. We want someone who is meticulous and very eagle eyed when it comes to key details of every project that they work on.

Defined expectations:

  • Coordinator to support all our brand communication teams. 
  • Work with the Admin Support Manager for all matters related to support and coordination. 
  • Work with all the different stakeholders within Marketing Communications and greater SPH (sales, analytics, marketing, operations, etc). 
  • Organized, meticulous and has a keen eye for details. 
  • Quick and a willing learner. 
  • Great time management skill and able to work with tight deadlines and pressure. 
  • Self-motivated, dependable and someone with positive attitude and strong work ethics. 
  • Must be able to communicate and deal with our customers, readers. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills are expected and able to interact, communicate and work with all levels. 
  • Team player with lots of initiative and ability to adapt to change easily. 
  • Supporting our trade and consumer events.  
  • Administrative experience will be an advantage. 
  • Quote “I see your secret code” during the interview. 
  • Good knowledge of computer skills - MS Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint), Google Docs and in-house systems.
