SPH REIT is a Singapore-based real estate investment trust established principally to invest, directly or indirectly, in a portfolio of income-producing real estate which is used primarily for retail purposes in Asia-Pacific, as well as real estate-related assets. It was listed in July 2013 with a portfolio of two high quality commercial properties - Paragon, a premier upscale retail mall on Orchard Road and The Clementi Mall, a mid-market suburban mall in an established residential estate in the west of Singapore.
The successful candidate will oversee all financial matters of SPH REIT. His or her primary responsibility is the preparation of statutory and management report, providing meaningful analysis of financial performance. This would entail compliance with financial reporting standards and statutory requirements and a good understanding of the retail mall business.
He or she will be involved in evaluation of projects and financing arrangements when required.
In addition, the incumbent will be given exposure on investor relations work of SPH REIT, to provide effective strategic communications with unitholders, investors and analysts through various platforms such as meetings, conferences and website.
