Job Descriptions

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support for teachers as assigned

  • Assist teachers in all aspects of classroom routines and curriculum, including programme delivery, setting up/dismantling of displays, organisation of stationery material

  • Assist teachers to produce, organise and maintain Mandarin instructional resources (physical and electronic media) and typing of Mandarin teaching materials

  • Supervise students and encourage independent learning

  • Maintain all educational equipment and ensure an organized and tidy work area at all times

  • Accompany pupils on field trips and assist in any after-school-hours student functions when required

  • Assist with administrative duties, e.g. organization of student’s learning data

  • Liaise with internal departments on various department needs, e.g. Facilities and Finance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mandarin Software

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in related discipline

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar capacity

  • Have a strong interest in Chinese language

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin

  • Able to work with 4 - 6 year olds

  • Team players with good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and able to type Chinese

  • Able to work independently and flexibly

  • Willing to take on tasks outside classroom duties
