Responsibilities
Provide technical support to the department and ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
Assist in trouble shooting machine problems, carryout repair and ensure products meet production, waste and quality targets.
Set up machine for change-over to run different gauges according to schedule.
Troubleshoot and remedy machine electrical & mechanical problems and quality issues during the production.
Training and coaching PTs and new hires on machine adjustment.
Allocating and dedicating tasks to PTs.
Provide coverage for machine operation during break and meal time.
Performance Indicator tracking and report on output/ scrap
Assist Mfg Engineers in making disposition of defective products.
Recommend and work with Engineers regarding machine modification, enhancement and improvement ideas.
Assist Mfg Engineer in evaluation, time study, reliability study & feasibility study of process / machine.
Standard & Procedure write out for assigned operation / process as requested by Mfg Engineer.
Assist in managing the department budget and also to monitor the critical inventory spares and parts for the production.
Schedule and carry out PM activities on Production Machineries.
Requirements
Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with min 3 years of Manufacturing / Maintenance/ Equipment background preferred.
Good communication skills and working attitude.
Open to S’porean/ SPR
Able to supervise/lead a team of production technicians.
