We are seeking a School Nurse whose key accountability is to provide medical support for all activities conducted at the school. It is the Nurse’s responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all students, teachers, staff and visitors to the premises by attending to school safety concerns, allergy and disease control, medical records and maintenance, first aid and emergency procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess and treat all illness and accidents
Attend to any injuries sustained by students within the school compound and to render first aid treatment
Maintain a confidential environment including security of records
Refer to outside medical services as warranted
Safely secure and administer medications
Assist the Principals in the monitoring of illnesses, incidences and accidents; and assess and report hazards
Assess students with special health needs and be aware of those at risk of requiring emergency care
Supply and restock Medical supplies
Liaise with teaching staff and parents as necessary
Requirements:
A Singapore Registered Nurse with nursing experience
Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with children
Minimum Diploma / Degree in Nursing or equivalent
Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
