Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


Responsibilities
* Conduct test planning and test efforts estimates with project stakeholders
* Produce Test Strategy and/or Test Plan
* Create and maintain overall test schedule and test execution plan
* Gain an adequate level of understanding of project business process, goals and requirements
* Manage all testing resources test team logistics
* Coordinate interfacing systems and teams for integration test activities
* Coordinate with Development Team Lead / Release Manager to schedule releases
* Manage overall planning, preparation and execution of all test phases
* Identify, mitigate and escalate testing risks (act as the escalation point for all testing issues)


Requirements
* Experience in leading complex large-scale testing projects
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership roles
* 9+ years of relevant QA technical experience
* Experienced in building and leading high-performance test teams
* Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent Negotiating and Influencing skills
* Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good Oral and written communication skills
* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, test tools, and processes
* Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios
* Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
* Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
* Proficient in service layer testing
* Knowledge of tools like SOAP UI for service layer automation
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
* Experience in performance testing
* Confidence, diligence and ability to take on challenging roles
* Knowledge of Mobile Automation using tools like SeeTest, Appium
* In depth knowledge in the API of SeeTest and its methods
* Able to develop different types of automation framework like BPT, Keyword, Hybrid and data driven
* Knowledge on Automation Object Model, Extensibility and advanced features of the Tools
* Hands on in VB Scripting and Macros
* Knowledge in Performance Testing using different tools Load Runner, JMeter etc.,
* Advance capabilities in quality centre and In depth Knowledge on HPQC Database
* Able to create complex queries using data available in HPQC database for generating customized reports
* Should have skills to develop reports using Open Test Architecture
