DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


Purpose
To lead one or more critical workstreams as part of the next Generation Omni Channel platform initiative:

* Establish cross functional and expertise team to lead a next generation technology initiative
* Deliver one or more key technology enablement platforms as part of the next generation channel within the agreed timeframe
* Work with vendors to establish appropriate contracts to support delivery
* Ensure appropriate capability uplift of DBS and partner staff on the new platform


Responsibilities
* Manage end to end delivery of one or more components of the new platform on a day to day basis, in one or more of the following domains: Security, DevOps, PaaS, Application Migration, New functional delivery
* Establish contracts with appropriately skilled vendors to supplement the in house team in the adopted domain
* Establish a competency uplift program for the DBS teams in the domain being delivered


Requirements
* The successful candidate will have at least 10 years experience in technology delivery, preferably with at least 3-5 years in internet and mobile related technologies
* Experience in NextGen technologies like Dockers, Micro Services and Stateless Architecture is required
* Experience in owning and delivering outcomes with a team size of minimum 10+ is critical
* Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban is advantage
* Experience in DevOps, Cloud Technologies, is an advantage
* Experience in complex systems and application migrations with a regional/global context is an advantage
* Technical competency in Integration, Messaging, Unix, Java and web technologies is an advantage
* Experience in the Banking industry is preferred
