Responsible for the following aspects of the Workshop: Commercial, maintenance, repairs, logistics, procurement and people management to deliver quality services to the operations, in an environment of achieving the best outcomes for the company and its contract partners.
The preferred candidate will have significant experience in a similar management role, working in the Oil & Gas, heavy engineering or transport industries, utilizing a maintenance management system. This will be supported by a solid technical background, obtained from a trade or tertiary engineering qualification, supplemented by relevant experience and achievement.
This role has direct responsibility for the day to day management, work scheduling and overall smooth running of the workshop and development of a team of 15-20 workshop & warehouse employees, to ensure availability of equipment and resources.
Requirements
Formal Engineering or Trade Qualifications (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Diesel)
Min 5 years’ experience in a similar workshop management/supervisor role
Management & Workshop Financial Experience
Strong Leadership and Communications Skills
Sound knowledge of Oil and Gas Tubular services and handling equipment
Strong written and spoken English
Highly Organized & Motivated
Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
Min. Education Level : Technical Certification
Field of Study : Mechanical Engineering / Industrial and Systems Engineering / Mechatronics
