Responsibilities:

 

Schedule and Ship Orders

  • Review customer shipping requirements, comparing the Customer Containment Rules (CCRs) against inventory to enable shipment
  • Adjust and align attributes to amended shipping requirements (Product waiver requests)
  • Modify scheduled ship date and plant based on changes to product availability
  • Support daily changes in shipping requirements of the core customer accounts
  • Process daily sales order swaps
  • Review Finished Goods inventory enabling the immediate shipment of escalated orders
  • Identify opportunities for delivery improvements and notify the Sales organization
  • Schedule sample orders
  • Coordinate allocation changes to support demand
  • Adjust shipping rules based on quarter end guidelines
  • Coordinate removal of delivery and credit blocks that prevent shipment
  • Highlight packaging discrepancies and coordinate repackaging efforts between Sales and Finished Goods
  • Review orders in violation of Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) policy against Finished Goods inventory to meet business needs

Coordinate Intrasite Stocking Orders (ZSTK Transfers)

  • Identify situations that require material to be moved from one location to another
  • Respond to requests from Manufacturing or Finished Goods to reposition material
  • Enter the stocking orders into SAP

Respond to Requests for Backlog Improvement (Order Inquiry)

  • Review supply and demand to identify disconnects to Original Promise Date (OPD) – Customer Request Date (CRD)
  • Work to improve delivery to OPD and CRD
  • Modify orders where the OPD was errantly set
  • Enter manual delivery schedules for non auto-scheduled orders
  • Provide impact analysis for priority requests
  • Identify alternative product availability for the Sales department

Resolve Issues Surrounding Delinquent or Unconfirmed Orders

  • Investigate and identify causes for delinquent or unconfirmed orders
  • Coordinate with MPS Planners if the root cause is a shortage in supply or a packaging issue
  • Coordinate with Demand Planners if the root cause is an allocation issue
  • Coordinate with Sales if the root cause is an issue with the order’s details
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance if the root cause is an issue arising from an invalid CCR
  • Follow identified course of action to resolution

Coordinate Shipping of Risk or Targeted Inventory

  • Ensure risk inventory shipping guidelines are enforced
  • Modify order shipping restrictions to utilize risk inventory
  • Match identified inventory to the specified order
  • Direct the disposal of inventory to SpecTek or other allowable outlet
  • Highlight potential risk inventory as encountered

 

Monitor Scheduling and Ordering Management Systems

  • Identify and analyze data between systems for potential problems
  • Notify or alert appropriate resources if potential problem is identified
  • Ensure problems are brought to resolution
  • Communicate to stakeholders the impact and duration of problems

  

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration/Management, Production and Operations Management (POM), or other related field of study
  • APICS-CPIM certificate preferred not required
  • 3 Years experience in related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in any of the following or related field required: Logistics, Planning/Forecasting, Sales/Marketing
