Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) classified advertisements portal ST701 has bagged two awards in a major Web competition honouring creative excellence.
Its career portal STJobs won a silver medal in the general website (employment) category while motoring website STCars won a similar prize in the mobile applications (services) field at the W³ Awards.
The winning sites were announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, a group consisting of leading professionals from visual arts disciplines.
There were more than 4,000 worldwide entries across various categories this year. Websites were judged on creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design and ease of use.
"We are heartened that our work is recognised by a very established panel of professionals and an international body," said Mr Johnson Goh, head and vice-president of ST701.
"We are glad and hopeful that our users can benefit from our best-of-class features."
Since its launch last year, STJobs has seen a 250 per cent increase in unique visitors.
The STCars app has also recorded more than 40,000 free downloads across all smartphone platforms since it was set up early this year.
