CENTRE of Executive Education (CEE), a network for established human resource development and consulting firms, is currently conducting a research project on "Leading and Engaging Gen Y and Z at Work".

The research aims to study the attitudes of Generation Y (those born between 1980 and 1994) and Generation Z (born between 1995 and 2010) towards employment.

The survey aims to find out what attracts Gen Y (most of whom are already in the workforce) to their organisation, what retains them and drives or engages them as well as what they expect from their leaders.

For Gen Z (most of whom are still pursuing education), the research is focused on finding out what they look for in prospective employers and their expectations towards employment and employers in the future.

CEE hopes the research would be able to provide organisations with a better understanding of the expectations of both Gen Y and Z in the workplace.

The results are also expected to help organisations better manage the expectations of the new and younger generation of employees.

To facilitate the research, CEE will conduct an online survey to garner the opinions of members of Gen Y and Z. The survey ends on Sept 7 and responses will remain confidential.
