Into its fifth year, the STJobs Career & Development Fair 2016 organised by Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) online job portal, STJobs features employers from multinational corporations, local start-ups and the civil service.
More than 800 job opportunities from over 100 companies have vacancies in industries ranging from food and beverage, tourism and hospitality to finance and information technology are up for grabs at the event.
With more than 30,000 visits, 70% of the 15,000 participants are Singaporeans and Singapore PRs. The job portal has also seen an increase in the number of executive level jobs receiving close to 10,000 applications from this career fair. The job openings will continue to run on the site till end of July at http://careerfair.stjobs.sg/fair2016/job-listings/.
Another highlight is the U Future Leaders Summit 2016, which is organised by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and SPH, in which industry leaders like Mr Chan Chun Sing, NTUC Secretary-General and Minister in Prime Minister's Office, discuss market trends that will benefit job seekers and working professionals. Only open to Singaporeans and Singapore PRs, the ticketed event also see close to 400 attendees over two days.
