1) Have more in-person conversations
Stop using email as a platform to have important discussions. It is more effective and polite to have face-to-face conversations to bring your points across and make sure both parties are on the same page.
2) Be acceptive of constructive feedback
Understand that such feedback will help you improve your work. If you are acceptive of constructive feedback, your boss probably will share valuable advices that will help you grow.
3) Look at your boss in a positive light
Stop wasting your time having grudges or focusing on your boss’ negative traits. It will be better if you focus on your work and prove yourself instead. It is important to keep your tone pleasant as speaking aggressively to your boss will only increase tension.
